Council Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month. All Council Meetings are open to the public, unless authorized under Section 239 of the Municipal Act. Meetings are held in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Town Hall, 61 Fifth Avenue in Englehart.
Agenda Packages are posted on the Monday before the meeting (3 business days) prior to the meeting and Minutes are posted once they have been adopted by Council.
ATTENTION: Due to COVID-19 and the requirements for physical distancing, the Municipality has amended its Procedural By-Law to permit Council to participate in meetings electronically during a declared emergency. During this time, the public may observe the proceedings by accessing the live zoom meeting as advertised in the Agenda of the meeting. Should you wish to observe the meeting you may do so by contacting the Town of Englehart Clerk Shawn LaCarte by calling the municipal office at 705-544-2244.
Once it is safe to do so, Council will be meeting in the Community Hall. Should an individual wish to attend, we ask that you please call the Municipal Office at 705-544-2244 to ensure enough seating with physical distancing requirements are available. All person(s) entering the Community Complex are required to wear a mask. You will not be permitted to enter the Community Complex without a mask.
