Poll Question

Fire Ban

Todays fire rating is Moderate

Current Fire Rating:Moderate

Fire doesn't take the summer off. It's important to practice fire safety throughout the summer.

Tips on practicing fire safety:

  • Stay in the kitchen of near your BBQ while cooking
  • Install smoke & carbon monoxide alarms on every storey and outside all sleeping areas of your home and cottage
  • Test your alarms every month to ensure they are working properly
  • Change batteries in your alarms at least once a year
  • Develop and practice a fire escape plan for your home and cottage

Be sure to check the MNR website for all fire ban information by clicking here.
